When you use CarePair, we collect the following information:

• From Caregivers (account holders):

  • Name

  • Gender

  • Year of birth

• From Care Recipients (entered by the caregiver):

  • Name

  • Age

  • Relationship to caregiver

• From Caregiver Questionnaires:

  • Responses about caregiving needs, challenges, and preferences

• From App Usage (basic activity):

  • Login frequency

  • Articles and resources you view

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to:

• Create and manage your CarePair account

• Provide personalized caregiving resources and recommendations

• Improve our services and better understand caregiver needs (in aggregate form)

3. How We Share Information

Your information is not shared with any third parties outside of CarePair.
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data for advertising or marketing. All information stays within CarePair and is only used for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as secure servers and encryption to protect your information. While no system is completely secure, we take steps to minimize risk and prevent unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, your information will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.

You may:

• Update or correct your account details

• Delete your account and request removal of your data

• Contact us for questions about your privacy

CarePair is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted in the app with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
